The challenge
A design system was absent, and the company's brand guide was undergoing a revamp. It is crucial to have a design system prior to designing any applications, as it ensures consistency in design language and UI patterns.
What we did
Built a design system while actively involved in the parallel efforts of revamping the brand guide.
Choice of framework
Engaged in a discussion with the software team to validate their adoption of design frameworks for development and discovered that they use Material UI, a React UI framework based on Material Design.
This discovery initiated the development of a design system that seamlessly aligns with the core principles of Material Design, while maintaining cohesiveness with the brand language.
